GF-9 IN SCOTLAND
Fresh in from Aaron Boucher of Camera Crane Scotland:
"Here are some shots of us with the GF-9 Crane shooting plates off the Waverley Steamer for 'The Happy Prince' feature film.
Rupert Everett director ,John Conroy DOP,
Grip was Rudi Kurth. And Peter Bruin supplied the Flight Head Mini 3.
What a great crane with very positive endorsements from Rudi and Peter. They both were extolling it's virtues and saying what a brilliant set up it is for the new Flight Head Mini. It weighs 6kg and can carry a 19kg camera package so just ideal for the GF-9 .
I am delighted with my new crane. It is beautifully engineered and will outlast me.(the pictures really don't do it justice.) I followed all the good advice from the old minds in the grip department and I am not disappointed.
It handled wet and windy conditions on a boat no problem. It feels absolutely solid there are no concerning wobbles or whip.
I can't speak highly enough about the crane or the team at Grip Factory Munich! I am sure it will provide many many years of service to the film industry in Scotland....or wherever it happens to go in the world...."
