DOG GRIPS GO EASY RIDER
Thanks to Radu Marinescu of Dog Grips & Film based in Romania for the following pictures and feedback:
We did a movie for Discovery Channel called 'Harley and the Davidsons', a history of Harley Davidsons motor cycles.
The location for the shoot was in Romania, last year. It was tough shooting on rough terrain, including bumpy forest roads, sand tracks and velodrome concrete tracks. The camera was mounted either on a 6 wheeler with GFM shock absorbers, or on bikes able to take hard narrow forest ways. We’ve been using Libra Blue Stripe for big setups and Mini Libra for smaller setups. The GFM absorbers and dampeners were really cool, helping a lot. The advantage of changing the camera position from left to right or up and down on a tracking vehicle in a few minutes is a big plus (everybody loves that). So, overall, yes, the Maxi and Mini Shock Absorbers and Iso dampener rule!
