Grip Kit

The Grip Kit is much more than just a new type of bazooka base as it provides endless possibilites to mount cameras in positions and settings where it isn′t possible to set up a tripod or use a dolly.

The Grip Kit consists of a central plate with a Euro-adapter mount onto which, as per the individual situation, a choice of legs or scaffold adapters may be fitted. You can, for example assemble the Grip Kit with 3, 4 or 5 legs. By choosing from the different length legs available (12cm/ 5", 21cm/8", 31cm/12" and 41cm/16") you can build anything from a mini to a maxi bazooka base or even a base with different sized legs (eg. rigging a camera close to a wall).

The Grip Kit, GFM's bazooka base system, now provide a lightweight, tracking dolly function.
The extremely stable 12" legs can accommodate a seat or monitor bracket and all the legs may be fitted with padded feet or spikes to adapt to the working surface.

GFM also supplies special adapter legs to allow the Grip Kit to be mounted either vertically or horizontally on scaffold tubing. Vertical adapters join to the central plate in the same manner as the legs and are available in 21cm/8" and 31cm/12" lengths. The horizontal adapters attach to any of the standard legs.

With such a variety of legs and adapters the Grip Kit can be mounted almost anywhere eg. stairs, ladders, grid systems, cars etc.

All parts of the Grip Kit are surface hardened, high grade aluminium,ensuring added protection and durability. The complete kit fits neatly into one custom designed flight case.
